چکیده
Abstract Modeling complex systems that consist of different types objects leads to multilayer networks, where nodes in the layers represent kinds objects. Nodes are connected by edges, which have positive weights. A network is associated with a supra-adjacency matrix. This paper investigates sensitivity communicability perturbations studying Perron root Our analysis sheds light on edge weights make larger increase network, and can be made smaller or set zero without affecting significantly.

Communicability in complex networks.
We propose a new measure of the communicability of a complex network, which is a broad generalization of the concept of the shortest path. According to the new measure, most of the real-world networks display the largest communicability between the most connected (popular) nodes of the network (assortative communicability). There are also several networks with the disassortative communicability...
متن کاملCommunicability in temporal networks.
A first-principles approach to quantify the communicability between pairs of nodes in temporal networks is proposed. It corresponds to the imaginary-time propagator of a quantum random walk in the temporal network, which accounts for unique structural and temporal characteristics of both streaming and nonstreaming temporal networks. The influence of the system's temperature on the perdurability...
متن کاملCommunicability across evolving networks.
Many natural and technological applications generate time-ordered sequences of networks, defined over a fixed set of nodes; for example, time-stamped information about "who phoned who" or "who came into contact with who" arise naturally in studies of communication and the spread of disease. Concepts and algorithms for static networks do not immediately carry through to this dynamic setting. For...
متن کاملCommunicability betweenness in complex networks
Betweenness measures provide quantitative tools to pick out fine details from the massive amount of interaction data that is available from large complex networks. They allow us to study the extent to which a node takes part when information is passed around the network. Nodes with high betweenness may be regarded as key players that have a highly active role. At one extreme, betweenness has be...
متن کاملCommunicability and geometry of complex networks
I will introduce some basic concepts of network theory, in particular the small-worldness and how the communication is though to flow in networks. Then, I will motivate and introduce the concept of communicability. I will show the way to formulate this concept mathematically. I will show a few applications of this concept in different areas, such as material sciences, human brain diseases and b...
